Mark Weinreich

Picture

In the fall of 1993, Baltimore native Mark Weinreich and his wife Danielle packed their belongings and their Labrador named Winnie and moved to the Vail Valley to ski. Weinreich left a career in the dealership networks of Porsche, Audi, and Jaguar and has never looked back.

His customer service background suited Weinreich’s next business enterprise. He soon partnered with friends and opened Venture Sports ski shop in Avon. His entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic served the business well. He has added teamwork and innovative marketing practices to his customer service skills to continue the company’s success.

Although Weinreich passed the Maryland State real estate exam in 1992, he postponed his full-time entry into the profession to bring Venture Sports to the level it is today. Along the way, Weinreich added Vail Valley rentals to his portfolio and personally negotiated the initial commercial lease and subsequent renewals for Venture Sports. During that busy time, he was also the developer and general contractor for his single-family home in Silverthorne.

The affiliation with Forbes Real Estate Group was an easy and timely decision for him. Weinreich finds that he shares the same ideals and business values of owner Kraig Forbes and the Beaver Creek-based firm.
